Project Brief
Lotte Chemical UK Ltd required an ATEX zone 2 compliant ventilation system to provide adequate air change to the chemical process pits, supporting air quality and safe site access.
The system had to be delivered within the limited space available (congested plant area) and within a limited time frame/construction plan.
Solution
Ambient developed the client’s initial design basis to minimise required air volumes and subsequent plant and distribution space, allowing standard Atex fans to be selected, avoiding long build times to meet the demanding construction plan.
High pressure diffusers were also factored to reduce ducting/required space.
